Funeral services for Mr. William Owens will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 12 noon at Martin Temple CME Church with burial in the Crossroad Cemetery in Estill, SC. Public viewing will be held from 4 to 7 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home in Estill, SC.

William Owens was born on 22 June 1955 in Hampton, South Carolina to the late Anna Owens and Framp Dobson. William moved to Jacksonville FL at an early age where he was employed as a construction worker and tree laborer until his sudden death.

Our Heavenly Father called him home on 17 November 2018 at his residence in Jacksonville Florida. He joined  Elevation Worship Center, Jacksonville, FL in 2010.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters- Anna Fields of Hampton, South Carolina and Yolanda (Michael) Gore, Lorton Virginia; two grand-daughters Shantell Maxwell of Greenville, North Carolina and Morgyn Gore of Lorton, Virginia; three step-daughters Tiffany Owens of Estill South Carolina, Jonell Toby and April Jones of Jacksonville Florida; one step-son Joseph Toby of Jacksonville, Florida; two step-grandsons Trayveon and Trenton Adkins of Estill South Carolina; two sisters Francine Pickney and Sonia Nelson both of Estill South Carolina; one niece Shameka Brown of Gifford South Carolina; three cousins Robert Garvin of Jacksonville, Florida, Joseph Owens of Rincon, Georgia, and Florrie Johnson of Clyo Georgia; and a special friend Brenda Williams of Jacksonville, Florida.
