Funeral services for Mr. Taylor Evans will be held Saturday,   December 8, 2018 at 11 am at Mt. Mariah Worship Center in Furman, SC. There will be public viewing on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 3 to 8 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home in Estill, SC.   Mr. Taylor Evans was born in New York, New York on May 4, 1945 to the late Frank and Jennie S. Evans. He went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2018 at his residence in Estill, SC. He was joined in holy matrimony on December 16, 1967 to Bettie Mayner to this union they were blessed with one daughter.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories: Loving wife­ Bettie M. Evans of the home; Daughter-Jeanette M. (Calvin) Lester of Estill, SC; 2 sisters-Margaret(Larry) Foster of Las Vegas , Nevada; and Carolyn(Jessie) Taylor of St. Louis, Missouri. 1 brother-Roosevelt Jackson of Chicago, ILL;. 2 sisters-in-law-Margie (Larry) Hinton of Estill, SC and Barbara Hutchinson of Tucker, Ga. 1 brother-in-law-Timothy(Brenda) Mayner. A host of many loving nieces and nephews. Garvin and Garvin is in char.ge of services.
