Funeral services for Tamara Leoi Duncan will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025
at 11 am at Goodwill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Public
viewing will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 6pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin
Funeral Home. On Sunday, June 15, 2025, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ sent
an angel to Tamara Leoi Duncan who whispered in her ear, "You Have fought a
good battle, and the victory has been won". Tamara was born in Hampton County
on December 16, 1987, to John Earl and Patricia Duncan.
At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and was
baptized at Goodwill Baptist Church in Estill, South Carolina. Tamara was a
graduate of Estill High School "Class of 2006", Estill, South Carolina. After high
school, Tamara attended Orangeburg Technical College in Orangeburg, South
Carolina. Fond memories will forever be embedded in the hearts of: Two sons,
Deondre Duncan and Trevion McNair of the home. Her parents, John Earl and
Patricia Duncan of Estill, South Carolina. Two brothers, Darral (Shanette), Connor
of Jersey City, New Jersey, John Earl Duncan, Jr. of West Palm Beach, Florida. Two
sisters, Sharonda (Harrison) Sanders of Estill, South Carolina, Nicole (David)
Timmons of Jersey City, New Jersey. Grandmother, Julia Mae White of Estill,
South Carolina. Four uncles, six aunts, two special friends Jaleesa Morris and
Tyquan Raymond. She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
