Funeral services for Sha'Nelle Yvette Nimmons will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 1 pm at Open Arms in Hampton, SC with burial in the Brunson Cemetery in Scotia, SC. Public viewing will be held Monday, April 17, 2023, from 5 to 7 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home in Estill, SC. Sha'Nelle Yvette Nimmons was born on February 15, 1991, to James Deloach Jr and Sharonda Nimmons. Sha'Nelle attended grade school in Estill, South Carolina. After graduating from Estill High, she continued her education and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She was an excellent educator and had a strong passion for helping children. Following her passion, Sha'Nelle became a teacher in Jasper County where she taught until her death. She enjoyed being with family and friends, creating art, reading books, and listening to music. Overall, she was an awesome example of Kindness, Friendship, Support, and Love. On April 10, 2023, the joyful spirit of our dear friend was freed from the land of sickness, pain, and death and joined the Heavenly Home of Rest.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: one son: Jeremiah Williams of Bluffton, SC; her mother: Sharonda Nimmons of Bluffton, SC; her father: James Deloach Jr of Scotia, SC; one brother: Javonta Nimmons of Scotia, SC; four sisters: Ashley Nimmons and Kenisha Nimmons, of Scotia, SC, Ja'maisa Deloach of Estill, SC, Shanika McCoy of New Jersey; a special sister: Shaquilla Gardner of Estill, SC; 5 nieces, one nephew; a godmother: Carolyn Grant of Scotia, SC; a godsister: Alexis James of Scotia, SC; four devoted aunts: Carolyn Brown and Shaphonia Grant-Deloach (Walter Deloach) of Scotia, SC, Deborah Goldwire of Robertsville, SC, Karen Ray of Florida; five uncles Napoleon Brunson (Rebecca Atkins), Johnathan Brunson, Mikell Grant (Hazel Grant), John Grant (Sherrie Grant), Willie Grant (Sherly Grant) and a host of loving cousins, other relatives, and friends.
