Funeral services for Ms. Ruby Pearl Taylor will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 12 noon at First Thankful Baptist Church Cemetery in Estill, SC. Public viewing will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 6 to 7 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home in Estill, SC.  Ruby Pearl Taylor was born on December 31, 1951 to the late Artie and Lucille Murray Taylor. She departed this life on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Allendale County Hospital. Ruby attended Estill Training School. She worked for Harrison Peeples Doctor's Office for many years and later as a caregiver until she retired.

"Moody" as she was called by those who loved and knew her was an awesome cook. She loved to cook for her family and the community. It was one of her greatest joys. At an early age she became a member of Martin Temple CME Church. She loved her church and worked faithfully as a Stewardess and Choir Member.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  Four Children-Tammy Taylor, Harry (Octavia) Taylor, Katrina(Richmond) Ryles and Tirrance Taylor. Two brothers- Elder Jackie (Evang. Stella) Taylor and Leroy (Deloris) Wesley. Two Special Nieces- Tounda Smith and Sophia Taylor. One adopted son- Travis Sanders. One Sister-in-law: Lizzie Mae Taylor. 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
