Mrs. Rose Morgan was born June 5, 1934 to the late Willie and Essie Priester in Allendale, South Carolina. She was married to Willie Morgan. She moved to New York at an early age. While residing in New York, she joined the Corona Seventh Day Adventist Church and remained faithful until she retired and returned to South Carolina. Rose then joined the Ridgeland Seventh Day Adventist Church and served  in several capacities including a Deaconess until her death on June 7, 2018. Rose was blessed with seven children. Her two sons preceded her in death: Willie H. Morgan and Delacy Morgan, along with her sister, Ernestine Priester and two grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband: Willie H. Morgan; her five children: Martha Ann Wilson(Benjamin Wilson deceased), Hattie Mae Warren(Eddie Warren, deceased), Beatrice Bostick(George Bostick, deceased), Cynthia Parker(Joseph Parker, deceased), and Marie Parker(Larry Parker, deceased); one brother: Willie Ray Priester; one sister-in-law: Marie Drayton; one brother-in-law: Freddie L. (Nancy) Morgan; 14 grandchildren, 22 gret grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
