Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee White will be held Saturday at 11pm at Mt. Pleasant AME Cemetery in Estill, SC. Visitations will be held today  from 3 to 7 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home in Estill, SC.

Mr. Robert Lee White, the son of the late Oregon and Lubertha Brown White was born on March 10, 1955 in Hampton County, South Carolina. He departed his earthly home on        Sunday morning, October 25, 2020 at the Pruitt Health Nursing Home in Bamberg, South Carolina, after an  extended illness.

He was educated in the public schools of Estill, South Carolina.  Robert attended Mt.       Pleasant AME Church. He was employed by Gold Kist, Great Dane and Elliott Sawmill.

"Pete" as he was known by everyone, loved being around family and friends, and loved to have a good time. He enjoyed a good card game, watching football and visiting his friends.

Robert leaves to cherish fond memories: one daughter, Dawn Williams; one son, Shawn   Williams; stepchildren, Teletha (Clarena) Ruth, Michael (Jalessa) Morrs, Rashida Warren, Marcus Morris and Lawrence R. Warren; granddaughter, Shaniya Riddles; grandson, Di'Jion Saxon and several Step-grands; one sister, Michelle (Sammie) Ling of Estill, SC; three     brothers Oregon, Jr and Maurice White of the home and Earl (Ella) White of Scotia, SC; a cousin raised as a brother, Charles Taylor of Estill, SC; sister-in-law, Carolyn F. White of  Scotia, SC; brother-in-law, Ernest Housey of Scotia, SC; three aunts, Eva Penn of Furman, SC, Rosa Lee Brown of     Lena, SC and Nora Brown of Estill, SC. A host of nieces, nephews,    cousins and his second family, the Houseys, whom he loved dearly. Special thanks to the    Priutt Health Nursing Home for caring for him.
