Mable Louise Bostick was born on April 30, 1950, in Allendale County, South Carolina to the
late Henry Bostick, Sr. and Willie Mae Badger Bostick. She transitioned from this life to her
eternal rest on March 13, 2020.
Mable, attended and graduated from C.B. Byrd High School in Fairfax, South Carolina and
graduated in 1969. Mable was an acting mother to many of her sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews
and all others, she came in contact with. She was known as "THE BOSS". She had no problem
putting anyone in their place as they were needed.
At an early age, Mable accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Clifton Baptist
Church, where the late Rev. J.J Fields was pastor and now under the leadership Rev Johnnie
Fryar. She severed as choir member, on the Usher Board, and Church Secretary. She was a
member of Guiding Light Chapter Number 285. She worked for numerous years at Falcon
Industrial in Estill, SC.
Mable was preceded in death by her brothers Willie Bostick, Lewis Bostick, Mose Bostick,
Joseph Bostick and Herbert Duncan. Her sisters Richardean Stokes and Bennie Duncan-Brown.
A devoted nephew Cordel Garvin and grandnephew/son Ty'Quereis Bostick.
Mable is survived by her three brothers: Henry Bostick, Jr., Herbert Bostick, Timothy Bostick,
and cousin/brother Earl (Celestine) Brown Sr.; Five sisters: Mary Ann (Marion) Green, Marshell
(Willie James) Garvin, Georgia (Craig) Beckett, Bertha Bostick, and Josephine Bostick; Three
brother in law Leroy Stokes, Morris Ritter, and Evan Brown; One sister in law Wilhelmina
Bostick; One aunt Reatha Badger; one uncle Willie Lewis; Two special cousins Mrs. Carol
Brooks Jenkins and Jessie Mae Taylor. Adopted siblings: Elliott Duncan, John Duncan, Sarah
Ayers, Mamie Jenkins, Martha Duncan, and Corine Miller. A host of nieces and nephews she
loved. Several nieces and nephews she cherished as her own Kimar, Jarod, Kobrandum, Jasmine
Bostick, Moneshia Stokes, Laderida Stokes-Roberts, Sy'Mir Garvin, Ya'Sir Bostick and
Ty'Asya Ling. Many loving cousins and friends. Special Fresenius Nurse Reta and caretakers
Ann Johnson, and El'Shaddia Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Martin Temple CME Church with burial to follow in the Crossroad Cemetery, Luray,SC. The family will receive visitors and friends at the home at 551 Hendrix Road Estill, South Carolina.
