Funeral services for Mrs. Kamala S. Robinson will be held Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11 am at Second Thankful Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Cypress Creek Cemetery. There will be no wake on Friday. Public viewing will be from 3 to 7 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home in Estill, SC.
An angel was born on March 23, 1961 in Sacramento California to the parents of Mary E. Bolden (mother) and Eddie Scarborough ( father). She gained her wings on December 14, 2017 where she reunited with the parents that raised her Pauline and Stephen Bolden who met her at the gates at the age of 56. . She was valedictorian of her class at Estill High School Class of 1979. She went to further her education by earning her Bachelor's Degree at South Carolina State University Class of 1983. Kamala had a vibrant, Spirit-filled, loving, sweet, humble spirit that touched everybody she came in contact with. She will be remembered by her beautiful smile that lit up the room when she was present. Kamala enjoyed traveling, going to church, Tres dias, spending time with her family, lunch dates with friends and especially spending time with her G baby.
Kamala leaves to cherish her loving memories: Mother-Mary E. Bolden; Loving daughter -Sevetra Scarborough, A loving grandson- Antraun Moody, Dantrcia Smith (honorary daughter), Wyman (Dawanda) Bolden, (honorary brother), Sheryl Fuller (honorary sister), and Jaqueline Orr (honorary sister). 3 step sons and 1 step daughter, a host of nieces ,nephews, family, and friends.
