Funeral services for Jess Harper Sanders will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1 pm at Kingbranch Baptist Church with burial in the Breller Field Cemetery in Garnett, SC. Family hour will be held Friday, February 14, 2020 from 7 to 8 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home in Estill, SC. Born in Hampton County on November 15, 1962, he was the son of the late Joe and Mamie H. Sanders. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at his residence. Jess drove van trucks for 20 plus years for numerous trucking companies. He was a member of Tabernacle Full Gospel in Garnett, SC.

Survivors-5 children: Christine Holmes of Robertsville, SC; Lakesha Heyward and Octavia Sanders both of Scotia, SC and Priscilla Sanders of Newnan, Georgia. Son-Jessie Jamone Sanders of Scotia, SC. 2 sisters-Mary Sanders of Varnville, SC and JoAnne Johnson of Estill, SC. 3 brothers-Robert Sanders of Fairfax, SC; Bernard Sanders of Estill, SC; and Ronnie Chisolm of New Jersey and 8 grandchildren.
