Funeral services for Rev. Isaiah Heyward, Sr. will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11 am at King Branch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. There will be no wake on Monday evening. Born in Hampton County on August 30, 1947 he was the son of the late Eddie and Florence Heyward. He departed this life on January 6, 2016 at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC. He was the pastor of King Branch Baptist Church in Garnett, SC for 25 years and Near River Baptist Church in Barton, SC for 13 years. Survivors-Loving wife of 45 years Mrs. Jannie Heyward of the home. 1 son-Isaiah Heyward, Jr and 2 daughters-Erica and Yalaundra Heyward. 4 sisters and 3 loving grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home is in charge of services.
