Funeral services for Deacon Harold Ennis will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 2:30 pm at Second Thankful Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Cypress Creek Cemetery in Pineland, SC. Wake services will be held Friday, April 14, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm at Second
Thankful Missionary Baptist Church. Born in Hampton County, Deacon Harold Ennis departed his life on April 10, 2023, with his loving family by his side.
Deacon Harold Ennis was a member and faithful servant in the following organizations: Past
Patron of Guiding Light Chapter #285, OES, Secretary of Fairview Lodge #393, Solomon Chapter
#22, Royal Arch, Prince Hall Consistory #282, and the Goodhope Deacon's Union.
On May 27, 1968, Harold Ennis wedded the beloved daughter of the late Rev. Daniel H. and Helen Sapp Mitchell, Grand Worthy Matron for the State of South Carolina, Mary A. Mitchell Ennis. To this union, there are two sons: Addison K. Mitchell (Barbara) of Melbourne, FL, H. Dewayne Ennis of Allendale, SC, and one daughter: Bernadette L. Ennis of Kansas City, MO. Harold's grandchildren are S. Antwann Mitchell of Atlanta, GA., Danielle S. Mitchell of Melbourne, FL. Faith A. Ennis of Clemson, SC., Canaan D. Ennis of Rockhill, SC., and one great
granddaughter, Aryelle J. Weaver, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins of the
Mungin-Taylor-Cohen-Ennis-Mitchell families.
