Graveside services for Mr. George Elijah Johnson will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Crossroad Cemetery in Estill, SC at 11 am.  Public viewing will be held Friday from 6 to 7 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home. Born in Hampton County on October 22, 1971, he was the son of Ruth Johnson and the late Herbert Sam Brown. George known to all as Helicopter was a very talkative person.

He leaves to cherish his memories of a loving Wife-Joanne Johnson of the home. His mother Ms. Ruth Johnson.  2 sons-Roshawn(Catharene) Housey, and Isaac(Shakeemah) Sanders. 1 daughter Teanna Sanders (Larry Albany, Jr.)  3 Brothers-Apostle Herbert(Debbie) Brown, Michael(Charmaine) Johnson, and Fred(Robin) Johnson. 3 Sisters-Inetta(Matthew) Davis, Alice Lucille Bostick, and Mae Rose(Gary) Mason. Grandsons-Savion Housey, Bryan Grant, Jr., Jeremiah Sanders, and Ashton Sanders. Granddaughters-Alaiyah Housey, Latrice Perry. Aunts-Rose Ann Deloach, Vernita Raymond, and Candice Roberts. One uncle.  Brother in Laws-Bernard Sanders, Odes Fuller, and Eugene Dukes. Sister in Laws-Mary Sanders, Mary Reid, and Gloria Sanders. Special Nieces-Fatima Sanders and IASIA Davis and Special Nephew-Gregory Hutchinson, Jr. Special Friends-Gary and Molly Sauls and a host of other relatives and friends.
