Memorial Services for Mr. Franklin Cohen was held on Thursday, October 22,
2020 at 11 am in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home in Estill, South
Carolina. He departed this life on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at his resident in
Orangeburg, South Carolina. Franklin was the son of Willingham and Iverlee
Cohen of Pineland, South Carolina. He was a member of First Thankful Baptist
Church in Estill, South Carolina. He was a 1961 graduate of Estill Training School.
Franklin served in the Army during Vietnam, and he retired after 45 years as a
electrician at the VA.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Children-Roswell Cohen, Karen Lesure, Victor
Cohen, Valissa Cohen, Rolanda Cohen, Shalonda Cohen and Amber Reed. Loving
parents-Mr. Willingham Cohen Sr. and Iverlee Cohen. Siblings: Willingham Cohen,
Jr., Earnestine Cohen Shaw, Lorraine Cohen Lee, Eleanor Odom Martin and
Jarome Cohen. Franklin will forever be in the heart of his nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
