Mrs. Elizabeth T. Gordon,99, known as "Shinge" was the daughter of the late Major and Lula Tobin. She was born in Nixville, South Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on August 6, 2020 at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina. She was a member of Lovewell Baptist Church, Lena, South Carolina.

Elizabeth was married to Luther Gordon and they were blessed with seven children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Luther Gordon and four children.

She is survived by her loving children: John(Daisy) Gordon, Harrison Gordon and Redell(Edward) Scott all of Estill, South Carolina; 14 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00am at the Cypress Creek Cemetery, Pineland, South Carolina. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 3 to 7pm in the chapel of Garvin-Garvin Funeral Home, Estill, South Carolina.
