Edna was born on April 19, 1947 to the late Eddie and Cordelia
Fields in Estill, South Carolina.
She joined Martin Temple CME Church at an early age and was
educated in the public schools in Estill, South Carolina. She was
a very smart and intelligent person who enjoyed helping her
fellow classmates with their school work.
Edna moved to Brooklyn, New York when she finished with
school. She later started working at Big R Grocery Store and
worked there for 40 years. When she retired she enjoyed her
crossword puzzles, reading and watching her African movies.
She moved back to South Carolina and became ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters (Thelma
and Julia) and her brother(Leon).
She leaves to cherish fond memories: Loving daughter-
Kim(Daniel) Collins of Varnville, South Carolina. Two sons-John
Fields of Estill, SC. and Bernard(Desiree) Fields of Washington
State. Seven grandchildren-Christopher(Derricka) Fields,
Terrance Fields, Keanu Fields, Javon Fields, Jalia Fields, Liam
Fields, and Ian Fields. Four great-grands-CJ, Nasia, Chloe and
Grayson. Three nieces-Janice Fields, Jeanette Fields, and

Carolyn Hill. Four nephews- James Fields, Rodney Fields, Joseph
Fields and Leon Fields. Three special friends whom she always
cherish-Cheryl Johnson, Priscilla Sydney both of Brooklyn, NY
and Rose Deloach of Varnville, South Carolina.
