Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Williams Russell will be held Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:30 am at First Thankful Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Family hour will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 5 to 7 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home in Estill, SC. Born in Estill, SC on May 2, 1941 to the late Clifford and Essie Williams. She was welcomed home to our Lord on Monday, October 21, 2019 in McDonough, Georgia.

She was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

She is survived by her children: Joe (Deundra) Russell of Odenton, Md; Benjamin L. Russell of Falls Church, Va; Angela Y. Russell of Oxon Hills, Md; and Bryant Christopher Russell of Jacksonville, Fla. Grandchildren: Treasure(Brandon) Miller of Douglasville, Georgia, Tabitha (Josh) Long of Odenton, Md; Kevin S. Russell of Odenton, MD; Rachel D. Russell of Odenton, Md; Sharona (Trevor) Lundy of Odenton, Md; 5 great-grandchildren: Brianna Smith, Gianna Smith, Xaylon Miller, Autumn Lundy and Aira Smith. Sisters: Rebecca Williams and Ruby Green of Savannah, Georgia and Johnnie M. Wright of Ridgeland, SC. Brothers: Marion (Sarah) Williams of Estill, SC, Richard (Florrie) Williams and McArthur(Angie) Williams both of Furman, SC and Andrew Williams of Savannah, Georgia. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
