Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Lee Swinton will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 11 am in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home with burial in the Goodwill Cemetery. Public viewing will be held from 3 to 7 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home. Mrs. Swinton was welcomed home to our Lord on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Pruitt Health in Walterboro, SC. She was born on March 3, 1926 to the late Sammy and Nettie Duncan in Allendale County, SC.

Mrs. Swinton will be missed by a special niece Bennie (Evan) Brown of Estill, SC. Three sisters: Julia Mae Overstreet, New York. Cora Lee Jones of Savannah, Georgia and Evelyn Smoaks of Luray, SC. Two brothers: Star(Fannie) Johnson of Savannah, Georgia and Nathaniel (Wanda) Beckett of Alabama. Two sisters-in-law: Mary Johnson of Luray, SC and Rebecca Johnson of Savannah, Georgia. Best friend-Edna Taylor of Elmira, NY and a host of loving nieces and nephews
