Funeral services for Ms. Alma Davis will be held Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 1 pm at Mt. Carmel Holiness Church in Brunson, SC with burial in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held Saturday from 2 to 7 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home in Estill, SC. Ms. Alma Davis was born on January 14, 1930 to the late Eugene and Pearl Roberts in Brunson, South Carolina. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Holiness Church where she was known as Mother Davis.

The death angel sealed her lips and closed her eyes in death on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Those who remain to cherish her memory include: Stepchildren-MeAnn Davis and Reggie Davis of Sumpter, South Carolina. Nieces-Mary (Riley) Williams, Patricia (Pastor Carlar) Williams, Phyllis Deloach all of Brunson, South Carolina, Catherine (Carl, Sr.) Russell, Pam Love of Fairfax, South Carolina, Wilhemenia (Frank) Williams of Savannah, Georgia, Evangelist Melinda (Reggie) Davis of Fairfax, South Carolina. Special loving and devoted niece of the home, Sherry Miles of Savannah, Georgia, Elaine (Dennis) Terry, Rose (James) Baker, Nancine Harrison and Lavonia Alexander all of Temple Hills, MD. Nephews- William Jr. (Cecelia) Roberts, of Temple Hills, MD. Carl (Virginia) Love, of Fairfax, South Carolina Donell (Pam) Love of Estill, South Carolina and Minister Marvin (Carolyn) Love of Hampton, South Carolina. Special cousins-Pearlie Mae Strain, Joan Wells, and Ivory Lee Manuel. A close family friend and caretaker-Phyllis Johnson and a host of grand nieces, grand nephews and loving friends.
