Funeral services for Ms. Alice Jackson will be held Saturday. February 20, 2021 at 11am at First Estill Baptist Cemetery in Estill, SC. Public viewing will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 from 5 to 7 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home in Estill, SC.  Alice Jackson was the daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Jackson. She was born in Jasper County on September 7, 1931 and departed this life on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Hampton Regional Medical Center in Varnville, South Carolina. Ms. Jackson was a member of Martin Temple CME Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Loving Sons-James (Pinkie) Jackson, Ulysses (Kim) Schuman and Teddy Newton. Two nieces-whom she raised: Dorothy and Linda Newton. A host of loving nephews, other nieces, grandchildren, cousins and friends.
