Funeral services for Evangelist Alice Fields will be held Saturday at 12 noon at Solomon Temple Church of God In Christ in Robertsville, SC with burial in the First Thankful Baptist Church Cemetery in Estill, SC. Public viewing will be held Friday from 3 to 7 pm in the chapel of Garvin and Garvin Funeral Home.

Evangelist Alice Fields, the daughter of the late David and Mattie Williams was born March 20, 1937 in Hampton County, SC. Evangelist Alice Fields transitioned from this life into eternal life on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Hampton Regional Medical Center in Hampton, SC. Alice was educated in Hampton County's public school district. Alice married the late Walter Fields in 1960. Alice was a hard worker that worked up until her late husband took sick, Everyone knew her from commuting to and from Hilton Head Island daily. She did not have any children of her own but grew a close relationship with her nieces and nephews. Alice professed her life to Christ at an early age. She was a devoted member of New Gospel Mission until her health started to decline. Everyone that knew Alice knew her love and dedication to Christ.

She leaves cherishing memories to three sisters: Rose (Jake) O'Banner, Anna Atkins, both of Estill, SC, and Nora Smalls of Brooklyn, NY. Two brothers: Henry and James Williams, both of Estill, SC. Two brother-in-laws: James (Mary) Fields of Estill, SC, and Arthur Fields of Teaneck, NJ. Three sister-in-laws Nora (Richmond) Brown of Estill, SC, Ivertia (J.C.) Roberts and Minnie (Jack) Housey of Patterson, NJ. Devoted nieces, Syreka Smart, Janice and Kerria Woods, and Michelle O'Banner, all of Estill, SC. A host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.
